Friends of Harrington Beach

April Events at the Park

Our annual Friends meeting is open to all.  RSVP required to or call Nancy Hise at 920-915-1595 by April 20th.  A catered meal by Bernie Meats of Port Washington is planned.  We will eat at 6pm with the business meeting starting at 6:30pm.  After the meeting, Ranger Robin Miller has agreed to lead an owl walk in the park.

Saturday, April 29th is Harrington's Earth/Work/Play day (Arbor Day) starting at 9am.  Even though there is no plan to plant trees this year, we will be making up for that next year.  This year is all hands on deck to clear brush and debris and pick up trash.  The Friends will be providing a hot dog lunch at the Ansay Welcome Center at noon.  To provide the Friends with a lunch count, please call the park office at 262-285-3015 to register and ask questions about the work day.

Remember, the next Wednesday, May 3rd is the start of first-come, first serve camping.  We need every able body to help with completing the campground cleanup.  See you in the park!!
