Events for July through October Updated

Do you want to keep current with the Harrington Beach State Park naturalist activities and programs?  Then click on the events tab on the top home page and check out all our summer events.  We also added Northern Cross Science Foundation open Observatory Public Star-Viewing Nights.  

In the Park Office Entrance Station kids and kids-at-heart have several choices of self-led activities by borrowing one of four Great Lakes Park packs, Take Smokey Camping pack and Explorer booklets.  Doing 5-7 activities in your Explorer booklet earns a free patch.  This is a State Park-wide activity if you are visiting other Wisconsin state parks.  

So join us for one or all of our park programs this summer.  If you have suggestions about future program topics or areas of interest, please contact the park office at 262-285-3015 or email the .

Clean up, plant trees and have a productive work day at the park. Then join the Friends for a free lunch at the Ansay Welcome Center. If you have a scout troop, civic or family group coming, call the park office to let them know. 262-285-3015

Join the Northern Cross Science Foundation for an evening of star gazing. The Plunket's Observatory holds the 20" Panarusky telescope and is located by Puckett's Pond shelter.
