THANK YOU to all our faithful volunteers who worked hard to provide a fun and delicious breakfast for our visitors and campers! Last Sunday was a stellar weather day. The Friends served about 300 people for breakfast, made several grocery runs to replenish pancakes and sausage, and raised over $600 in donations for Harrington Beach State Park.
Those donations provide some of the following items: future plans to build a playground, purchase of program materials, donation for a half time naturalist educator. Need I go on?
A big shout out to Heritage Printing of Port Washington, Kim and Diane Keller, who donated the Pancake Breakfast sign we can use every year! Port Washington Bank has been a valuable partner with Friends of HBSP through the years. Thank you, Mark Schowalter!
The Friends was established over 30 years ago. Through the years, we have received many donations to help support our non-profit organization. If I were to start to list them, I would embarrass myself by leaving someone out. So know that you are appreciated and take this big THANK YOU to encourage you to continue your volunteer service.
THANK YOU! Gracias! Merci! Grazie!Arigato! Danke!
