Snowfall today just for the hike this Saturday!!!  Please join us at Harrington Beach State Park Welcome Center!!!

Candlelight Ski/Hike:  Join us Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 6:00-9:00pm at the Ansay Welcome Center for an evening of skiing and hiking along trails lit by hundreds of tiki torches. The 2-mile long skiing trail will be groomed according to snow conditions and the 1.25-mile long trail around Quarry Lake will be available for hiking.  After an evening of crisp winter air, warm up next to the fieldstone fireplace while sipping a warm beverage in the Welcome Center.  Northern Cross Foundation will be out with telescopes if the sky is clear. Well worth a stop at Puckett's Pond! Don't forget to stop in the Welcome Center for a bowl of chili, cup of hot apple cider or cocoa, hot dog and great homemade bars and cookies!!! (The chili/hot dogs are available for a small charge.  Beverages and dessert are free.)  This event will be held regardless of snow conditions. Please, no pets or sleds on the trails.  A daily park entry fee for $7 or annual pass for $25 is required to enter the park.
