Camping For All: December 25, 2014 Ozaukee Press Article
Steady progress continues on the handicap-accessible cabin being built at Harrington Beach State Park in the Town of Belgium. Subcontractors and volunteers have completed the rough structure and structural and electrical inspections are scheduled for this week, Friends of Harrongton Beach member Neil Kraemer said. The cabin should be open in time for the 2015 camping season, he said. The Friends group needs to raise $23,000 to meet its $160,000 fundraising goal. Volunteers are needed to help install log siding, interior woodwork, tile work, staining and wheel-chair-accessible landscaping in spring, Kraemer said. For more information on the cabin, visit www.friendsofharrington.org, the group's Facebook page, contact the park office or e-mail .
